Cynthia R. Pratt, MA, LP
I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 22 years and continue to find the work inspiring and deeply satisfying. After completing my Master’s degree in Human Development at Saint Mary’s University, I continued to explore my interest in body/mind issues and also taught yoga. I underwent further training in contemporary psychoanalytic theory and practice and studied Jungian thought with staff at the Minnesota Jung Association, Pacifica Graduate Institute, and the Marion Woodman foundation.
I have been deeply influenced by the work of Michael Eigen, James Hillman, D.W. Winnicott, Marie Louise Von Franz, and Marion Woodman. Additionally, teachings from Buddhism and other spiritual disciplines continue to inform my work.
I have a garden variety practice, meaning I work with everyone. Most of the people I see have anxiety of some sort and many are depressed. I have a particular interest in mind/body issues and specialize in treating eating disorders, body image issues, and chronic pain.
